Helicopter Twirls Wildly into Palm Trees at Popular California Coast
An aircraft hovering near a well-attended southern California beach suddenly started spinning uncontrollably, ultimately dropping height and plunging into a row of palm trees as onlookers watched.
Recordings uploaded online show the helicopter beginning to twirl over the beach then falling towards the edge of the beach, where it gets stuck among palm trees and a steps near the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Details
Emergency responders reported five individuals were transported to a medical facility comprising a pair who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the incident on Saturday.
Three people on the street were hurt. Information on their wounds were not yet released.
